Thank you for supporting our Spooky Disco last night. The costumes and cakes were fabulous!
A huge thank you to everyone that helped to make it a super evening.
The children had a great time during this year’s History Day with some very creative costumes! We had working waterwheels, clay tiles of the mill buildings, patterns inspired by the mills, stone age tools made by flint napping soap and jewellery with animal teeth. We also had some very kind grandparents that gave up their time to share their experiences with Class 1. Thank you for your support.
We had a lovely time welcoming families into school for our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday. The children really enjoyed the activities in the classrooms. We had some amazing cake donations and raised £250 for a very worthy cause.
While some of the children have been having an amazing time at Walesby, we've been having a great time doing art activities. We have some super displays around school created by our fabulous children.
Last week, Year 2 had an amazing time on our residential at Lea Green. The children were all brilliant and we all couldn't be prouder of them!
On Wednesday 21st June, 10 children from Class 3 took part in the Brownlee Triathlon Event at Moorways Sports Village in Derby. It was a fabulous event and the children were absolutely amazing!

On Friday 16th June, Class 3 had the amazing opportunity to play their brass instruments with the Halle Orchestra. Well done, Class 3!
This week, children from years 5 and 6 have taken part in the Bikeability programme. This is a really important part of developing their understanding of road safety and how to be safe when travelling on their bikes. A big thank you to Mrs Robertson for helping the Bikeabilty coaches.
