Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium Grant

Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools and academies to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. It was first introduced in April 2011. Since then the number of schools and academies receive this has increased. Schools and academies will receive funding based on the number of pupils who have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years.

 

Funding Allocation for 2023 – 2024

  • £1,455 for each eligible primary aged pupil
  • £2,530 for each Looked After Child
  • £310 for each Service Child

This year the school should receive £9,230.

The school should also receive £2000 recovery premium funding.
