• Summer Fundraiser

  We had a super afternoon yesterday at our Summer Fundraiser! The Year 5 and 6 children did a brilliant job creating and running their own stalls. We also had cakes, hot dogs, ice lollies and different drinks on sale, a uniform sale, bottle stall, face painting and much more. A huge thank to everyone who came to school to support us.

  

• Sports Day

  We had a fabulous afternoon on Friday. The children were absolutely amazing. Congratulations to Blue Team for winning the Thomas Ball Cup this year. It will be on display in the entrance area.

  

• Faith Walk

  We had a super day on our whole school trip on Thursday. The staff at Derby Open Centre were fantastic and we learnt lots about the Hindu Temple, Mosque and Gurdwara.

  

• Science Morning

  What a super morning!
  
  All the children have been working in mixed aged teams to complete different science experiments. They've been testing pulse rates, cleaning coins, making parachutes, making boats to hold marbles, trying to protect eggs when they have been dropped and filtering water.
  
  A huge thank you to all the staff for making it such a fabulous morning and a special thank you to Miss Knight for organising it all.

  

• Jubilee Open Morning

  We've had a fabulous morning with our families. The children really enjoyed doing activities together as well as showing the work they have been doing. Thank you for all the wonderful cake donations too!

   

  A special thank you to Ambergate WI for your delicious cakes and help with serving. It was very much appreciated.
